Christmas pies at Langsett, our 2 and 3 course Christmas menu will be served throughout December. Which will include the seasonal favourites Turkey and Ham pies, game pies, Christmas pudding and rum sauce and other Christmas treats.

Don’t forget to order your  - Pick up a pie - ideal for an easy to manage party or as an add on to your buffet table. Meat & potato, turkey & Ham and Homity pies on offer all with Yorkshire caviar (mushy peas!) and our pickled red cabbage. £7 p/p. Pies can be collected anytime up to 23rd and then again from 27th upto 30th. Also this year you can order a bowl of our popular chicken liver Pate to incident in your Christmas feast. (Price on req).





Yes we are, but not everyone is - we're very happy to welcome customers with dogs, but please just pop in to check what our dog count is - ask at the bar - we can get a little busy at weekends in particular. If it is possible to return your dog to your car before coming for a meal or a drink that would be very much appreciated. Thanks.


As is tradition now we've invited the wonderful Thurlstone Brass Band to play for you on the afternoon of 17th December. Book your Traditional Christmas Sunday Lunch and sing-a-long to you favourite Carols.

Mr Fox will be back with more fire, music, dancing and masked mystery on the 15th October 2016 - book your table early and wrap up warm.

The famous Langsett Fox Dance, which is held on the Saturday night nearest the full moon before the Fifth of November, usually called the Hunter's Moon.

At half past eight (or thereabouts) the masked dancers will commence to march to the Waggon and Horses, and perform once again the immemorial dance of this tiny Pennine hamlet.
